Consider visiting Abby's Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt. Located downtown, you pick how much dessert you want and customize it to cure that sweet tooth. Customers get to choose from different cup sizes with flat-fee pricing, then add from a selection of 45 different toppings.


You’ll find Abby’s has a family-friendly atmosphere. For a quick pick-me-up, they serve Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. They’re open daily from 12 to 9 PM.

2. Bavarian Chocolatier

Located at 4 Northside Square, this shop will indulge your sweet tooth with their daily selection - that includes fresh fudge, popcorn, and chocolates. You also can pick up some beef jerky to satisfy that salty craving.


If those items aren’t up your alley, Bavarian Chocolatier carries gummies, candies, and other treats. It’s the perfect place to go when your sweet tooth likes a little something spicy!

3. A Little Baked Bakery

This boutique bakery in Ellijay is located at 128 N. Main Street. It’s known for offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a wonderful stop to consider when visiting our community. They deliver sweet and tasty bites!


Also, they have a traditional bakery-style tearoom elegant way to enjoy your preferred treats. Brunch, afternoon, and holiday teas deliver a fun option for stopping those sweet tooth cravings!

4. Ellijay’s Little Italian

Coming from the imagination of Annette Cavallaro, Ellijay's little Italian is a charming spot offering a unique blend of Italian street food and an ice cream bar. Several street food options are there to try, including eggplant paninis. You can get some cannoli, experiment with all the ice cream options, and include a little wine, if desired.


They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday each week. Everything is made to order, so we promise it will be worth the wait!


The ice cream bar offers floats, sodas, and milkshakes with different flavors. Grab the Bigfoot Tracks if you dare, which offers Oreo ice cream, whipped cream, a chocolate cookie, and a drizzle of caramel. 


If ice cream isn’t for you, gelato is another option. 


5. Dairy Queen

Ok, ok.... sometimes you just need a Blizzard! Our local Dairy Queen is located at 1043 S Main Street in Ellijay. They offer a variety of sweet and fast-food options. Enjoy the classics, including Blizzards, dipped cones with different sizes, banana splits, and the Peanut Buster Parfait.
