Ellijay River House does not require certification, identification cards, medical documentation, or proof of training for service animals. We do not ask guests to disclose the nature of their disability.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we ask that service animals remain under their handler’s control at all times.
Please acknowledge the following:

My service animal will remain under my control by leash, harness, or voice command unless these interfere with its trained work.

I understand my service animal must be housebroken.

I understand that if my service animal is out of control and I do not take effective action to control it, or if it is not housebroken, Ellijay River House may ask that the animal be removed, consistent with the ADA.

I understand that I am responsible for any damage caused by my service animal beyond normal wear and tear.
